Born in Moscow (Russia) in 1979, Ira Wind is a portrait photographer. Her artistic practice focuses on the human subject, their life energy, beauty, and multifaceted nature. In her portraits, one can see both familiar reality and a different, fictional, distorted—surreal—world.
An important aspect, and often the protagonist of her photographs, is light, color, and form, which the photographer experiments with extensively. Ira lives and works in Belgrade (Serbia).
